生存的艺术:广东南昆山十字水生态度假村

纵观历史,从农作物的灌溉,到使用当地材料修建道路和持久性住宅,我们无处不见景观设计与生存的艺术紧密相连.十字水生态度假村就是个很好的例子,它体现出了地方精神以及文化的价值,而这种人文精神来源于研究和尊重当地的自然环境和实际情况.历史上曾经把这个设计阐释为生存设计,而在现代社会这种设计则被称作可持续设计.针对十字水生态度假村这个项目来说,这种设计被称之为生态旅游设计.这个度假村位于中国南部的广东省南昆山国家森林公园内,五十个别墅式客房在这里依山而建,在竹海中若隐若现.

Throughout history, landscape design has been associated with the art of survival, from crop irrigation and the use of local materials to creating pathways and permanent livable structures.Crosswaters Ecolodge is a great example of employing cultural and spiritual values derived from research and respect of the environment and local conditions. While history translates this to survival design, the modern term for this practice is known as sustainable design, or in the case of Crosswaters Ecolodge, a 50-room boutique ecolodge tucked away in the Nankun Mountain Reserve in Guangdong Province of S. China, sustainable tourism.
