Abstract: | ![]() Conducted a replication of a study by the authors (see record 1973-21504-001) on the prediction of modifications in coping pathology during psychiatric hospitalization. 65 patients were assessed at the time of admission and again at discharge by multiple Os. The battery of 7 predictor scales used measured concepts of premorbid adjustment (expressed both positively and negatively as ego strength and previous history of failure), level of manifest distress at intake, and negative expectations regarding psychotherapy.
