| Abstract: | The article describes the status quo and method of direct reduction(DR),which is both the foundation of developing minimill process and the important component of smelting reduction(SR). It also points out that developing DR and SR is one of the main objectives in metallurgical reform,and a vital task towards the 21st century in China as well. |
