The formation of communication space must be considered by the architect during the reform of living street blocks.With the increase of the urban private mobiles,the conflict between traffic and traditional communication space becomes more and more serious.It is of great significance to create the harmonious ancient living space by properly dealing with the relationships of transportation space and communication space,fully analyzing the particularity of transportation system organization,and then putting forward the pattern and design principles of transportation space for communication in the reconstruction of the ancient city historical living street blocks.
