摘    要:
Nd∶Gd3Sc2Ga3O12(Nd∶GSGG)晶体具有荧光寿命长、物化性能稳定、易实现Nd3 离子高浓度均匀掺杂以及易于制成大尺寸无应力和杂质核心类缺陷的激光晶体元件等优点,是一种潜在的优良激光材料。为了研究其激光特性,在不同腔长、抽运半径和抽运波长情况下,对激光二极管(LD)纵向抽运的非对称平行平面腔Nd∶GSGG全固化激光器的输出特性进行了实验研究。在抽运功率为2355 mW时,实现了稳定的345 mW激光输出,光-光转换效率为14.65%,斜率效率为16.61%,输出光斑呈现出较好的空间分布。

Abstract:
Neodymium-doped gadolinium scandium gallium garnet (Nd:GSGG), with long fluorescence lifetime and stably physicochemical properties, is a kind of potentially promising laser crystal, and it is easier for GSGG to be doped with Nd3+ uniformly and heavily. In addition, GSGG can be grown in large-size core-free boules. In this paper, the characteristics of laser diode (LD) end-pumped Nd:GSGG all-solid-state laser with asymmetric flat-flat cavity were investigated for different cavity lengths, pump radii and pump wavelengths. Experimental results show that stable 345 mW laser output is obtained under a pump power of 2355 mW with an optical-optical conversion efficiency of 14.65% and a slop efficiency of 16.61%, and the spatial characteristics of the output beam are good.
