Abstract: | With the development of electrical railway, the negative sequence current and high order harmonics generated by the electric traction load,not only do harm to the traction power supply system,but also cause the power system negative sequence and harmonics pollution.So,the negative sequence and harmonics have been the important factors for restricting the development of electrical railway in China.Considering the influence of electrical railway on power system,the paper stressly researches into static var compensation(SVC) in negative sequence compensation. SVC is successfully applied to the reactive power and negative sequence compensation in electrical railway in some advanced countries, such as America, Japan, Australia and so on, according to the cases from advanced countries and China, the principle of negative sequence compensation and running way is studied and analized.Lastly,the application prospect is discussed on SVC in electrical railway negative sequence compensation to improve the economic and social returns of power system operation. |
