Plant design of winter cities——On the plant disposition in Shenyang

Plant is one of the important factors in the formation of city landscape. But there are some problems with plant designs of winter cities: 1.the kinds of plant are few and monotonous; 2.the kinds of ornamental plant in winter are fewer and the colour of leaves and branches is monotonous; 3.the disposition level of plant is fewer. Plant disposition principles and techniques have been discussed based on the practice in Shenyang,which select different kinds of plant suitable for local growth to create a rich plant landscape in cold areas.
