| Abstract: | The purple pottery of Jian shui, which is one of the most famous potteries in China, has a special artistic charm because of its main decoration method adopting painting and calligraphy from traditional literati. In this article,the profound cultural implications, the spirit together with the pursuit of the Chinese literati that presented in the purple pottery of Jian shui are discussed from there aspects： the art, the decorative methods and the appreciation of painting and calligraphy of purple pottery. |
