| Abstract: | This paper is a research and deduction of the internal structure of Fangli units of Chang'an in Tang dynasty. It also makes morphological comparison on blocks layouts and models of the world ancient cities, and revealed the significant difference of district and block dimensions between eastern and western civilizations.Using Chang'an as a representative case, the paper explored the textural features and historical causes of urban district planning in ancient China. |
