基于左右手传输线的定向耦合器

摘    要:
设计出了一种新型平衡混合左右手传输线结构,并利用该结构设计出了一种基于混合左右手传输线的平行耦合型微带定向耦合器。该结构类型的定向耦合器具有强耦合、宽带宽和高定向性等特点,为常规耦合器提供了一种替代。通过改变耦合线之间距离和组成耦合线的混合左右手传输线结构单元的数目,可以实现不同耦合度和带宽的定向耦合器,实现3dB~20dB范围内的任意耦合,具有较高的应用价值。

Abstract:
A novel balanced composite right/left-handed transmission line structure is designed, which is based on the theory of composite right/left-handed transmission lines and conventional transmission lines. A parallel microstrip directional coupler is designed based on this structure. This type of coupler is a compact planar structure with the characteristic of strong coupling, wide bandwidth and high directional property. The coupler offers an alternative to conventional couplers. By changing the spacing of the coupled line and the number of structure unit cell, coefficients from 3 dB to 20 dB can be achieved respectively.
