一种基于分块的小波编码图像压缩技术

提出了一种基于改进的分块小波图像压缩技术.在小波分解的基础上给出了一种分块编码的图像编码算法.该算法利用小波变换系数子带内和子带间的相关性以及小波系数的分布特点,有效地对高频子带数据进行了压缩,然后使用其他几种比较简单的编码方法实现图像的进一步压缩.该方法实现简单,可达到很好的压缩效果.

A Compression Coding of Image Based on Wavelet and Sub- block

The wavelet transformation ation decomposes the original image and forms a multi resolution pyramidal representation, In this paper, we present a new coding algorithm sub - block coding to compress high frequency sub - bands. Using not only the correlation of the wavelet coefficients in the sub - bands and between different sub - bands but also the properties of wavelet coefficients and several easier coding algorithms, this method can compress the high frequency sub -bands effectively.
