The integrated protection work of the West Lake in Hangzhou, which began since2002, has improved the plant landscaping and ecological benefit of the West Lake greatly, and advanced the international reputation of the West Lake. Therefore, Discussing and summarizing the plant landscaping experience and shortage during the integrated protection work of the West Lake become very important. This paper discusses the plant landscaping experience on the landscape rebuilding of the west waterway in West Lake, and gives some advice on the further research and construction.
