| 摘 要： | 鄂西北的南漳县境内至今存留着大量的堡寨聚落,这些堡寨在历史上曾对保卫乡里、庇护乡民发挥过积极的防御作用。从整体到局部对南漳堡寨聚落的形成原因、形式类别、结构特点以及建筑设施等方面进行了探讨,并对几个有代表性的堡寨聚落作了分析。
