原位合成(TiB+Al2O3)/Ti复合材料

摘    要:应用热力学 ,分析了Ti与B2 O3 、Al之间的化学反应原位合成TiB和Al2 O3 增强的钛基复合材料的合成机理。设计了普通的非自耗电弧熔炼工艺制备该钛基复合材料。借助X射线衍射仪 (XRD)和扫描电镜 (SEM )分析了原位合成复合材料的物相和增强体的形态。结果表明 :原位合成的增强体确实为TiB和Al2 O3 。增强体在基体合金上分布较为均匀 ,增强体形状为短纤维状。原位合成增强体的加入显著提高了钛基复合材料的洛氏硬度。

Abstract:Synthesis mechanism of TiB and Al_2O_3 reinforced titanium matrix composites in situ fabricated by using the chemical reaction between Ti, Al and B_2O_3 was investigated by thermodynamic theory. A common non-consumable arc-melting technology was designed to produce the titanium matrix composites. Phase identification and microstructure observation of the composites were performed by X-ray diffraction (XRD) and scanning electron microscopy (SEM). The results show that in situ synthesized reinforcements are TiB and Al_2O_3. Reinforcements are distributed uniformly in the matrix alloy. The shapes of reinforcements are short fibrous. The in situ synthesized reinforcements improves the HRC value of the composites obviously.
