摘    要:公伯峡水电站坝区第三系红层下广泛埋藏有古全风化岩,这些古全风化岩在电站的各个工程边坡、洞室及局部基础均有出露。古全风化岩是独特地质环境条件下岩石再次压密、结构再生的一种岩体,与现代全风化岩有着明显的区别。分析、研究古全风化岩工程地质特性,优化防护措施,对保证各建筑物的稳定性及工程的长期安全是十分重要的。国内外水电工程在大范围全面揭示古全风化岩工程地质特性的事例很少,因此古全风化岩工程地质特性的研究,既是工程实际需要,又是一项新的探索。

Abstract:The ancient wholly-weathered rock is widely embedded in red strata of the Tertiary system in the dam region of Gongboxia Hydropower Station. The outcrop of weathered rock appears in the construction slopes, adits and local foundations of the project. The rock is a sort of rock that is recompressed and rejuvenated structure under unique geologic environment, and it has an obvious difference from modern wholly-weathered rock. It is of significance to analyze, investigate engineering geological characteristics of ancient wholly-weathered rock, optimize protection measures in order to guarantee the stability of structures and long-term safety of the project. It is rare to fully reveal ancient wholly- weathered rock to a large extent in hydropower stations both at home and abroad. So, the study on this kind of rock is not only an actual demand, but also a mew probe.
