Discussion of the Hot-Dipped Aluminum-Zinc Alloy on Steel

The characteristics of the hot-dipping technique and various kinds of hot-dipping processes were described briefly. the structures and properties of the coatings of zinc, aluminum and zinc-alumium alloys, especially 55% Al-Zn alloy,were discussed systematically. The production and application of these coatings in some foreign countries were introduced. The necessity and possibility of producing and appling these coatings in our country were also discussed.
