Danish Green Public Housing Construction Practice and Its Inspirations

ABSTRACT With the constraint of resources and environmental factors and people＇s increasing demand for promoting the quality of living environment, green public housing has become the focus of public housing ：construction around the world. Danish green public housing development is one of the successful cases in the World because of its advanced design idea and construction technology. This article briefly elaborates the history and development of public housing policy and construction technology in Denmark. Through in-depth analysis of tWO Danish green public housing cases, the article draws On three inspirations for the oonstruct on of green affordable housing in the cold areas of China： energy- saving design according to local conditions, intensive land use, and efficient and clean industrialization.
