| Abstract: | This paper introduced three kinds of mechanisms of coke formation in ethylene furnace, involving metallic catalytic, free radical and non -catalytic condensation coking mechanisms. Coke inhibition technologies are also introduced, such as adding inhibitors, surface coating technology and using mechanical component. The commercial applications of coke inhibition technologies both abroad and at home in recent years are reviewed and suggestions for developing domestic coke inhibition technologies are put forward. |
