氧化锌在镍氢动力电池中的应用

摘    要:以氧化锌(ZnO)为添加剂,制备了加锌MLNi_(3.9)Co_(0.6)Mn_(0.3)Al_(0.3)贮氢合金电极。添加0.5%的ZnO制作的电池,初始开路电压为1.20 V;在1.0~1.6 V循环,0.2 C首次放电比容量达到291.7 mAh/g,第100次循环的容量保持率为95.88%,相比于空白MLNi_(3.9)Co_(0.6)Mn_(0.3)Al_(0.3)电极,分别提高了0.39 V、31.6 mAh/g和5.70%。用该电极制作的200 Ah镍氢动力电池,搁置电压大于1.20 V,在0.8~1.6 V循环,0.2 C首次放电容量达到200 Ah,而未加锌的合金电极制作的电池,第3次循环才达到额定容量。ZnO的加入不影响电池标准循环寿命、荷电保持和容量恢复能力。

Abstract:MLNi3.9 Co0.6 Mn0.3 Al0.3-hydrogen storage alloy electrode was prepared by using zinc oxide (ZnO) as additive.The initial open circuit voltage of battery prepared by adding 0.5% ZnO was 1.20 V.When cycled in 1.0-1.6 V with 0.2 C,the initial discharge specific capacity was 291.7 mAh/g and capacity retention rate was 95.88% after 100 cycles.Compared to the blank MLNi3.9 Co0.6 Mn0.3 Al0.3 electrode,it was improved 0.39 V,31.6 mAh/g,5.70%,respectively.200 Ah MH/Ni power battery was made under the condition of the electrode,the shelved voltage of adding zinc battery was more than 1.20 V and initial discharge capacity reached to 200 Ah when cycled in 0.8-1.6 V with 0.2 C,while the blank battery reached to the rated capacity after 3 cycles.The addition of ZnO did not affect standard cycle life,charge retention and capacity recovery of battery.
