New Method of Crude Oil Distillation Tower Design |

| Abstract: | A new paper method of the crude oil distillation tower design was presented in this paper.Two kinds of calculation results were given, with the in situ data of crude oil distillation tower of refinery. The 1st kind of results was obtained based on the traditional method of the crude oil tower design with the stripping steam used in stripper. The 2nd one was obtained with the new design technology which the stripper reboiler was used instead of stripping steam. Comparing the two cases, it was easy to find that the new method could reduce vapor-liquid flow rate and improve processing capacity(see data in table 1), decrease energy consumption, increase economic benefit and cut down outflow rate of oily waste water. |
