| 摘 要： | 在未来高度信息化的社会中，光缆有线电视（ＣＡＴＶ）将成为人们生活中必不可少的基础设施之一。它将成为电信部门仅次于电话业务的第二大支柱产业。本文对电信部门参与光缆有线电视建设进行了研究，着重探讨了光缆有线电视的优点；电信部门参与光缆有线电视建设的可行性分析和策略；目前光缆有线电视的相关技术；所采用的系统和网络；最后对电信部门建立有线电视网作了经济分析。
