Abstract:Sodium acetate trihydrate(CH3COONa·3H2O) was used as a substrate material of phase change heat storage by adding various nucleating agents and thickeners to compare its effect so that to find out the best combination for superior heat storage performance.The experiments show that for the same type of nucleating agent,the degree of supercooling of CH3COONa·3H2O has an increasing tendency with the increasing of its adding amount.The effect of inhibiting supercooling is the best when adding 0.05 g Na2HPO4·12H2O in 10 g CH3COONa·3H2O.The supercooling performance of CH3COONa·3H2O can be further improved with 0.3 g carboxymethyl cellulose(CMC),and the degree of supercooling can be reduced to 2.015 ℃.It can effectively prevent phase stratification.The experiment also shows that 65 ℃ is suitable as the constant temperature of CH3COONa·3H2O system.
