摘    要:商标无疑是影响商品销售成败的重要因素,尤其是对于国际化商品来说,商标的翻译显得尤为关键。本文会根据纽马克提出的语义翻译和交际翻译理论,来指导研究商标翻译的原则,在翻译商标时要结合这两种翻译策略。利用语义翻译法更能将商标的基本含义传达出来,后者则更容易让商标给消费者某种刺激,从而引起消费者对此种商品的欲望,进而达到商家通过商标而获得的最终目的。

Abstract:Trademark is the important factor that affects commodity sales, especially for international trade, so the translation of trademark is regarded as the particular critical part. In the thesis, according to Newmarks’s semantic translation and communicative translation theory, these two principles are applied to translate the trademark. With the method of semantic translation, the basic meaning of trademark can be grasped and the latter translation could make the more consumers attracted by the trademark, meeting their demands so as to achieve the ultimate purpose of business.
