| Abstract: | Through an investigation of the hardness values of high temperature metallic materials it is found that the reduction in hardness values may have a relatively great impact on the low cycle fatigue life and high temperature creep life of steam turbine rotors. The consideration of this factor of hardness value variation will ensure a better evaluation of the service life of steam turbines. |
