The supermac macro processor in pascal

SUPERMAC-Pascal is an implementation of the general-purpose macro processor SUPERMAC. It allows the user to write macros using Pascal procedures and to compile these procedures using his normal Pascal compiler. This paper describes how the macro processor was adapted to fit Pascal, and how the apparently intractable problems of performing string processing in Pascal were tackled.
