Abstract: | The occurrence of compound in the system has been studied by means of X-ray powder diffraction. A compound, EuIINb4O11, was found. The X-ray powder diffraction data for EuIINb4O11 could be indexed on a tetragonal cell with , . The temperature dependence of the magnetic susceptibility for this compound is expressed by the equation, . This compound is oxidized at about 290°C or above in air. |
