| Abstract: | This thesis pruvides a way to generate automatiically the unit of the gear for stress analysis by 3-D finite element method, the unit was divided by the normal sections of the tooth surface and according tothe tooth surface exactly. It finds that there are two high stress areas on each tooth of the gear. |
