| Abstract: | The paper analyzes electricity and capacity benefits of peak-regulation power sources from the view of the whole power system based on load demands and characteristics as well as power structures of Guangxi power grid in "the thirteenth five-year plan".Under the premise of meeting the requirements of electric power and energy balance as well as peak regulation of the power system,the economy of establishment of Guangxi pumped storage power station is demonstrated based on minimum total cost of power system. |
