Abstract:On a R6100ZQ vehicle turbocharged diesel engine, the characteris- tics of cycle variation have been experimentally studied under specified and part load conditions. The conclusion shows that the cycle variation exerts an unneglectable impact upon engine power, fuel consumption and reliability.
