风水的山岳崇拜渊源于上古的萨满式地理观,《山海经》的主体《五藏山经》和《大荒经》是考古学上的龙山时代(宗教历史上的萨满信仰时代,华夏上古史上的帝颛项时代)的宗教巫祝颂经,反映了龙山文化时期华夏族的地理观以及神话血族谱系和宗教原型模式.后世在夏、商、周三代山岳崇拜的基础上,发展、强化了昆仑帝山崇拜,最后形成了风水地理思维中的干龙朝宗思想和寻龙捉脉的理论依据.

The Book of Mountains and Sea and the Worship of Ridges and Mountains in Feng Shui

Worship of ridges and mountains in Feng Shui originates from Shamanistic Feng Shui theory in ancient times. The Chapt er of Wuzhuang Mountain and The Chapter of Dahuang (Big Wildness), core parts of The Book of Mountains and Sea, are religious odes of the Longshan Cultures ages (a late Neolithic culture characterized by a burnished black pottery; named after Longshan, Shandong Province, where remains were first found in 1928). They are indications of Huaxia (archaic name for China) people's Feng Shui theory as well as the myt hical consanguineous pedigree and religious model. On basis of these, descendent generat ions ranging from Xia, Shang and Zhou Dynasties established and consolidated the worship of Kulun Emperor Mountain, thus finally established the theoretical foundation for the viewpoint of ruling dragon and the discovery of hidden dragons among ridges and mountains in the Feng Shui Thoughts.
