Abstract: | A thermodynamic model is proposed for the solubility of the acid gases (H2S and CO2) in alkanolamine solutions. The model is based on the exten Debye-Hückel theory of electrolyte solutions. Predicted partial pressures of the acid gases over monoethanolamine solutions are in good agreement wit experimental data over the temperature range 25—120°C. |
