对固定网运营商发展无线移动业务的思考

面临巨大的挑战和机遇,中国电信业的固定网络运营商应利用自身的网络及用户优势,适时进入无线移动领域,开展业务。在方式上,可以从发展无线市话开始,逐步扩展到其它移动业务;在技术上,建议使用1865～1900MHz频段并选择PCS1900技术。固网运营商应正确把握时机,评估第二代技术向第三代过渡期的投资问题,发展有自己特色的无线业务。

How Will Fixed Network Operators Deploy Mobile Services

In face of enormous challenges and opportunities, the Chinese fixed telecom network operators should lose no time to encroach on the mobile area and provide wireless services by taking advantage of the existing networks and customer base.Initially, local wireless telephone services can be launched and other mobile services will be gradually introduced.The frequency band of 1865 ~ 1990MHz and the PCS 1900 technology are recommended for use.The fixed network operator should evaluate the issue of investment in the migration of 2G to 3G and deploy wireless services according to its own characteristics.
