The Technical Features and Product Evaluations of 200t - Class ESR Furnace

t-class ESR furnace located in Shanghai Heavy Machinery Plant is the largest one in the world nowadays. This paper has briefly described its features of both equipment and process as well as the main product performance, this ESR has the capability to produce 240t ESR ingot, which can be used for producing 200t heavy duty forgings. By using 3.3m mould, 300t ESR ingot can be produced to make 250t heavy duty forging. Which has the capability to manufacture the forgings for 1000MW nuclear and thermal power as well as for the 2000t-class hydrocrack reactor .
