| Abstract: | Much attention has been paid to the noble metal nanoscopic clusters attributing to their (unique) properties such as quantum size effect, the nanocluster size and high surface atom concentration. The characteristics of noble-metal nanoclusters, the agglomeration-resisting mechanism and their preparation were reviewed and prospects of their application in catalysis forecasted. |
