Abstract:In this paper, the processing technique for the data from the full wavetrain acoustic logging with single source and double receiver was introduced. The moveout of the sliding P-wave was determined by the technique of similarity correlation and the moveouts of the sliding S-wave as well as the Stoneley wave were determined by the zeroaxlal technique. In line with the moveouts above obtained,the velocity characteristic of those waves propagated in the rock body of the wallface could thus be determined. By using the technique mentioned above,the data of the full wavetrain acoustic logging from the analogue and the actual wells were processed. It needs only a little computational effort and is time-saving in computation,hence,it is helpful in implementing the real-time process-Ing in situ.
