Lacquer Painting's Revolution: The Changes of Modern Lacquer Art in Vietnam

Since entering 1990s, Vietnamese lacquer painting is going to get a great reputation all over the world, and even surpassing the traditional lacquer paintings from China, Korea and Japan. During the war time, Vietnamese arts changed greatly; meanwhile, the war life deeply affected their arts, especially on lacquer. A lot of artists offered their creativity on researching new skills and manners, the lacquer painting gradually become a symbol of Vietnam modern art.
