Construction and characterization of a rotating cylinder electrode for different technological applications

Abstract:A rotating cylinder electrode (RCE) for corrosion studies has been constructed and hydrodynamically characterized. Empirical hydrodynamic parameters were determined from limiting current density and weight loss measurements for four different electrochemical processes. Statistical data analysis established the confidence limits of these parameters.
