摘    要:主要介绍了一宽带速调管发射机的组成,以及其核心器件——速调管的基本结构、工作原理及其应用特征;作为雷达发射机的末级功率放大器的速调管(KLY),常具有功率大、增益高、供电电路复杂、电压高、应用环境恶劣等特点;因此速调管发射机的失效机理分析及其可靠性设计工作一直是设计师们比较关注的问题。文中重点分析了该发射机的监控及保护电路、固态调制器、电源系统(灯丝电源、磁场电源、钛泵电源)和水冷冷却系统等的失效机理;同时通过实际应用的具体分析,最后较详细地论述了提高发射机可靠性的设计方法。

Abstract:This paper presents an introduction to the composition of a wide band klystron transmitter and the fundamental structure, operational principle, and application characteristic of its klystron. As the fi- nal stage power amplifier of radar transmitter, the klystron is characterized by high power, high gain, com- plicated power supply circuit, high voltage, and critical operation environment. Therefore, the designers pay much attention to the analysis on the failure mechanism of klystron transmitter and its reliability design. In this paper, the emphasis is placed the analysis on the failure mechanism of monitor/control ~〉 protection circuit, solid-state modulator, power supply(PS) system(filament PS, Ti-pump PS, and magnetic field PS), and water cooling system. Based on the analysis of the practical applications, a design method for improving the reliability of the transmitter is described in detail.
