| Abstract: | HMD will be the PFR (Primary Flight Reference) of the coming fighter. It can enhance the ability of situational awareness and battle efficiency. The present situation and development of the electro-optic technology, used as the key technology for HMD, are discussed. The technology index, problems existed and research trend for replacing the HUD by HMD are summarized. |
