摘    要:针对我国高职高专学习者的需求现状,提出职业英语应该有若干套符合该层次学习者的教材.<实用交际英语>是以国外 ELT语言课程大纲和<高职高专教育英语课程教学基本要求>以及本课题组的调查结果与需求分析为依据编写的新教材,借鉴了现代语言学权威理论和现代外语教学理论,对语言认知和课堂教学规律作了进一步探索.<实用交际英语>教材编写体现了新的指导思想和编写原则,在教材的设计和编排上打破传统的先学课文后训练语言的模式,以"说听"导入,强调学生输入与输出能力均衡发展,重点体现产出技能的培养,突出了实用性和有针对性.

Abstract:The reform of textbooks is part of English teaching reform. In vie w of the status quo of high vocational learners' needs in China, a series of Engli sh textbooks are required to meet the need of high vocational English teaching. Here is the introduction of a new textbook-Practical Communicative English, wh ich is based on the overseas ELT language course syllabus and the teaching sylla bus of the state Education Commission and needs analysis. It borrows some modern linguistic theories and foreign language teaching theories, and has a further e xploration of language cognition and law of classroom teaching. Some new guideli nes and compiling principles are used in the compilation of this new textbook, w hich is characterized by its practicality and adaptability.
