| Abstract: | The construction characteristics of soft soil foundation in Shanghai area are analyzed. In order to tap the latent potentialities of foundation and control the settlement of residential buildings, the selection of settlement calculation and correctional coefficient by partitioning with different foundation types is put forward. |
