The Basic Characteristics of Solar Cells

The energy crisis and pollution of environment is serious challenge for human being.It is the most critical and influential technology areas.Solar energy is a regenerative and clean energy.The research of solar cells becomes more and more important.In this paper the parameters which are used to character the solar cells are systematically discussed based on the structure and working principle of solar cells,and the effect of environment conditions on these parameters are also discussed.These parameters are short circuit current,open circuit voltage and fill factor.
