| Abstract: | Abstract The Hart-Montroll (HM) method of analytical summing of the Mie series is reconsidered. The HM scattering amplitude is corrected for the low values of the diffraction parameter kR. The question of unitarity violation is discussed and solved. It is stressed that non-Rayleigh polarization may be obtained only by developing the approximation beyond that of HM. |
