| Abstract: | The pressure drop of gas flowing through the granular moving bed has been investigated experimentally. The pressure loss of the moving bed has been compared with that of the fixed bed. The influence of some factors on the pressure drop such as the ratio of bed-height to the thickness, the size of particles and the construction of the gas-inlet and outlet has been studied. Some equations have been developed from the experimental results. |
