XML文档DTD到关系模式的转换

随着XML技术的不断发展和成熟,如何有效的利用关系数据库技术存储和查询XML文档显得非常重要。提出了一种XML文档DTD到关系表格的两阶段转换法,先将DTD文件映射为XSchema模式,通过对XSchema模式的约束简化、内联、添加键约束、数据类型和属性转换得到能够在RDBMS中存储的关系模型,映射后XML文档信息不会发生丢失且能保持键约束。实例的成功转换表明了该方法的可行性。

Transforming XML DTDs to Relational Schema

As the developing and application of XML, it is important to store and query XML data in relational database efficiently. A method named two- stage transform is proposed to solve the problem. First stage, DTD document is transformed to XSchema model; Second stage, the gained XSchema model is simplified on constraints, inlined and added with key constraints. After attribute and type transform, relational model which can be directly stored in RDBMS is acquired. The method causes no data loss and keeps key con- straints.The "Conference" example' s transform success shows that the method is correct and feasible.
