| Abstract: | This paper introduces the specification for GSM, including system architecture and main parameters, discusses the key factors for choosing GSM in Chi- na, such as its frequency bands allotment, open standards, com- mercialized equipment and so on. Brief introductions of the net- work constriction plans in 16 provinces and cities at the first year when GSM has been greatly developed in China are present- ed and the future of GSM in Chi- na is also prospected. |
