360kt/a铜冶炼烟气制酸装置的技术改造与运行实践

Upgrading and operation of a 360 kt/a metallurgical acid plant

An upgrading project of 360 kt/a sulphuric acid plant fed by copper smelter off-gas is described with respects to its process flow, equipment selection and trial production. The plant adopted Ⅲ Ⅰ-ⅣⅡ 3 ＋2 double absorption process and imported catalyst, followed by a DynaWave scrubber system for tail gas desulphur- ization with lime milk. The acidic effluent was treated by a tree-stage process consisting of lime-ferrous method, electro-coagulation and sand filtration plus filtrate adsorption. When SO2 concentration of gas entering conversion section was 10.54% , an overall conversion of 99.87% was attained, emitting a stack gas with SO2 content of less than 200 mg/m3. Treated water was all returned to process for reuse.
