Abstract:A new macro/micro manipulator system for enhancing the accuracy of effective positioning is presented. This is very important in the applications of industrial robots.The system construction, micro manipulator design, system control unit ard control algorithm are described in detail. The experiment of peg-in-hole assembly has been successfully accomplished and the results are given.
