| Abstract: | This paper presents a power system intelligent PI stabilizer, which consists of two -layer decision unit, distinguishing unit and intelligent PI control unit. The control rules of the proposed stabilizer are a direct imitation of experience, inference and decision on human being. With the viaration of operating conditions and system configurations of a power system, this intelligent PI stabilizer can keep supplying an effective control to improve the stability of the power system. The design examples both of single - machine and multimachine power system as well as nonlinear simulations are given in the paper. |
