The conception of architecture design in the new century:a retrospect on practicality,economy and beauty

Along with the fast development in the past 30 years,Architecture has entered a new period of abundant theories and ideas compared with the rarity of theories in the past.The paper argues that it is highly necessary to stick to the basic principles of architecture at a time when all kinds of 'modern theories' appear almost every day.The guidelines held in the 1950s and 60s: practicality,economy and beauty are still applicable in the development of architecture.
